New B&S Medusa saxophones for sale. We have a limited number of brand new B&S Medusa saxophones for sale. These professional horns have a rich vintage type of sound with the advantages of great intonation, modern key work and quality German engineering.

There are a limited number of these horns available and they are the last of these horns manufactured and available to purchase new.   All horns come complete with case, neck strap and mouthpiece.  A professional setup is carried out on every horn prior to shipment to the customer and every horn is fully play tested.

Unlike any other area, the saxon region of Vogtland in Germany looks back on over 100 years of tradition in the development and manufacturing of wind instruments. The first German saxophone was built in 1901 in Markneukirchen, and by the 1920`s, Hüller saxophones were being sold all over the world. During the times of the old East Germany (GDR), the majority of the Vogtl. Saxophone manufactures were brought together to form the VEB Blechblas- und Signal-Instrumenten-Fabrik. Laterally, this tradition lay in the hands of Vogtländische Musikinstrumentenfabrik GmbH , who as well as continuing the handcraft instrument building traditions, also worked towards developing new and innovative ideas together with leading saxophone players and specialists from around the world.  These B&S Medusa saxophones available from this web site are the last saxophones  which were made by Vogtländische Musikinstrumentenfabrik GmbH.
